Abdulrahman, Waleed sparkle for Qatar in Kuwait
Waleed Dalloul and Abdulaziz Al Obaidli also strike gold at the ongoing GCC Aquatics Championships

Qatari swimmers have been doing quite well on the international circuit in recent times. After fine shows at the recent Arab Junior Championships in Tunisia, their good run of form is continuing at the GCC Aquatics Championship in Kuwait.
Abdulrahman Mohammed was the star for Qatar over the first few days of competition, striking three gold medals — in 400M individual medley, 800M and 1,500M freestyle events.
Waleed Dalloul has won three medals — two gold (50M and 100M breaststroke) and one silver (200M breaststroke).
Abdulaziz Al Obaidli won two gold, in 200M breaststroke and 200M individual medley open races.
Saad Al Sulati (bronze, 50M breaststroke) and under-10 age group swimmers Nasser Al Nuaimi (bronze, 50M backstroke) and Abdullah Mohammed (bronze, 50M butterfly) were the other medallists for Qatar.
The Qatari swimmers had recently undergone a preparatory camp in Romania in preparation for the Gulf event.
