The visitors were impressed by the hospital’s facilities and the quality of the services it offered.

“We’re delighted with the quality of care and, in particular, the services provided to the athletes. I’m also aware of the range of expertise at Aspetar. It’s wonderful to see they’ve built on the experiences of different events,” said ANOC Medical Commission chairman Chris Milne.
Prof Fabio Pegozzi, President of International Federation of Sport Medicine said, “Aspetar is a great sports medicine hospital. I’ve been here many times before, but every time I come, I see important developments having taken place”.
The delegations were taken on a tour of the hospital and told about the high-quality services provided to athletes, sports clubs and federations in Qatar and around the world.
