Brozyniak and Janiak win Aspire Cup title
Polish pair, who came through qualifying rounds, remain unbeaten through the tournament.

Poland’s Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak defeated Russia’s Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak to clinch the Aspire Cup at the Al Gharafa Centre Court on Friday.
The Polish pair, who are the reigning Youth Olympic Games champions, defeated the Russians 18-21, 21-15, 15-12 and clinched the gold at the end of a 44-minute encounter. The pair, who remained undefeated over seven games in Doha, took home a purse of $1,000 for their exploits.



The Polish pair became only the 31st team in FIVB Beach Volleyball Tour history to win the overall title after coming through the qualifying rounds.
Bakhnar and Bogatov shared $700 for placing second.
Sweden’s David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig defeated Oman’s Nouh Al Jalbubi and Mazin Alhashmi 22-24, 21-12, 18-16 in 48 minutes to clinch bronze medal.
