Duhail Sports Club rallied to force a 2-2 draw against Al Gharafa while Qatar Sports Club drubbed Al Sailiya 4-0 in Group B of the Ooredoo Cup on Saturday.

At the Al Ahli Stadium, goals from Mohammed Ramadan in the 38th minute and Abdelghani Mounir in the 54th gave Gharafa a comfortable lead.

Duhail, however, hit back late in the game, with Muhammed Muntari netting both goals. Muntari, who first found the mark in the 66th off a penalty, slotted home the second with three minutes remaining on the clock, to earn a point for Rui Faria’s men.

Qatar SC, placed 11th in the Qatar Stars League, found some relief as they won big against Al Sailiya at the Al Arabi Stadium.

Kayke Rodrigues struck two goals for Qatar, in the 29th and 67th, after Musa Haroon put them ahead in the 21st. Elmehdi Barrahma scored the fourth in the 83rd.

Earlier, Al Khor and Al Arabi played out a 1-1 draw in the day’s first Group B match.

Tiago Bazerra gave Khor the lead in the 59th while Pierre Lasogga brought Arabi level in the 75th.
