El Shorbagy eyes another world title in Doha
2017 world champion and world number two keen to end the year on a victorious note.

Former world No.1 and 2017 world champion Mohamed El Shorbagy touched down in Doha on Sunday ahead of the 2019/20 PSA (Professional Squash Association) Men’s World Championship.
The event, the last major PSA tournament for the year, will be held from November 8 to 15 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
The Egyptian was welcomed by top officials of the Qatar Squash Federation (QSF) as well as fans.
Shorbagy is a familiar face in Qatar, having won the Qatar Classic thrice in 2013, 2015 and 2017. He was runner-up in 2016.
Shorbagy has also featured in the final of two out of five World Squash Championships Qatar has hosted. He lost in 2012 and 2014 to his compatriot and the now retired Rami Ashour.
Ranked World No. 2 behind his compatriot Ali Farag, the 28-year-old could fancy another shot at the world title in Qatar.
A total of 64 players from 24 countries will vie for the $335,000 purse at the event.
